Informational Meetings Set

Informational meetings are being set up to address questions and discuss the options available to the industry. Four meetings will be moderated by Hugh Whaley, President of Association & Government Business for Osborn & Barr. They will be:

I attended the PCTGA info mtg. The group was in favor of assessing the check-off through the seedling and transplant sales rather than by the number of Real Christmas Trees sold. The main advantage of the seedling and transplant method is that there are fewer numbers of businesses to go to for tracking information. More discussion is definitely needed, esp. when it comes to who pays and who votes.
